DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to introduce to you King of the Pond Presented by North! ⚡\n \n  \nKiteboarding WA will be hosting the big air comp in association with Big Air Kite League in Perth this summer. \nLocation – The Pond\, Safety Bay\, Rockingham\nDate – 15th – 16th of January 2022\nReserve dates: 14-16 January\, 28-30 January\, 4-6 February\, 11-13 February\, 18-20 February\, 25-27 February 2022. \nWe will celebrate life and this spectacular sport by coming together as a community and going absolutely nuts! \nHow it works…\nThe event is based on INVITATION ONLY. \nTo apply for an invitation\, please submit your best video entry. Your video will be judged as per the following weighting: \n• 60% Height. Go as hard and high as possible. The height in combination with move difficulty is priority\, but we will also take the horizontal distance traveled into account. \n• 40% Technicality. Controlled\, extreme\, difficult\, high moves. Think about extremely powered and/or extremely technical\, or ultimately a combination of this as long as it is performed at a proper height. \nYour videos will be judged by our panel of judges and the highest-ranked entries will be invited.
