DESCRIPTION:The level 1 instructor course is a 5 full-day course. KA are planning an instructor course over two weekends to allow those who work through the week the opportunity to get involved. The course dates will be: \n\n▫️ December 3 (5pm-8pm)\n\n\n▫️ December 4 (9am-5pm)\n\n\n▫️ December 5 (9am-5pm)\n\n\n▫️ December 10 (5pm-8pm)\n\n\n▫️ December 11 (9am-5pm)\n\n\n▫️ December 12 (9am-5pm)\n\n\n\nSign up to the new course here – https://www.kiteboardingaus.com.au/events/120552/\n\n\n\n\nAn instructor course is an awesome opportunity to learn new skills\, open a new career pathway or make yourself more comfortable showing mates how to kite. \nThe course is fun & interactive\, you will get the opportunity to spend time at the beach in real-life practical situations as well as spend time learning the critical information needed to teach beginner kiteboarders safely. \n \nEnrollment requirements\nRegistration for event closes at Fri 05 Nov 2021 23:59! \nRiding proficiency is explained and detailed on the pre-entry form\, which must be completed and returned directly to the Kiteboarding Australia recognised school hosting the relevant course. Further to this\, all candidates must also hold: \n\nA valid powerboating qualification\nA valid Apply First Aid qualification or equivalent\nA valid Kiteboarding Australia Membership\nShadow teaching (at a Kiteboarding Australia recognized (or approved) school) – let us know if this will be a problem\nValid Working With Children Check when teaching children\n\nKiteboarding Australia can put you in touch with centers for training in all of the above. Some of this training may be done after the start of the ITC\, if so your pass or otherwise will be dependent on completion of that training.
