DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event opens at Fri 01 Oct 2021 00:00. \n  Sat 29 Jan 2022 10:00 – Tue 01 Feb 2022 17:00\n  Cotton Tree \n \nThe Freestyle Nationals are set to kick off at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast\, Queensland from the 29th of January to the 1st of February 2022. It will be the second consecutive year the Freestyle Nationals have taken place at Cotton Tree and we are excited to invite riders from across Australia to a great freestyle location on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. \nIt will be a 4-day action-packed weekend\, with the best freestyle kiteboarding in the country taking place in an epic flat water location. \nThe event boasts a huge prize pool\, with live commentary and tunes cranking all weekend\, photographers and videographer will be on-site to capture all the action and with a host of fun events such as expressions sessions and evening dinners there really is something for everyone! \nCome & Try \nOn Saturday and Sunday\, there will be free Come and Try kiteboarding lessons. DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event closes at Thu 10 Feb 2022 21:00.\nKiteboarding Australia in conjunction with Kiteboarding Western Australia is thrilled to announce that in lieu of the Wave Nationals\, the Margaret River Quobba Classic as part of the Cabrinha National Wave Series will go ahead between the 11th and 13th of February.\n  \nThe opportunity to go forth with an event at Main Break\, Margaret River was too good to pass up despite the closed border putting a hold on the planned Wave Nationals. \nIt’s great news for the citizens of Western Australia who can head to Margs this weekend to get the opportunity to kite Main Break all to yourself and take part in a fun wave event! \nForecasts are suggesting great conditions for the event but we will follow with updates and a detailed schedule on Wednesday evening the 9th of February. \nFor riders that had already registered for the Wave Nationals\, your rego will cary into the ‘Classic’. For those who haven’t registered yet\, please jump on board and sign up today to assist with the planning of the event. \nWe thank everyone for their patience whilst we organise the logistics of the changed event plan. Wind conditions will most likely prevail from the south quadrant. \nSwell: Margaret River is exposes to the Indian Ocean and receives consistent ground swell. Although size can vary\, we expect the wave conditions to be between 3 – 6ft range. \nEligibility\nThe Kiteboarding Australia Wave Nationals are open to Kiteboarding Australia current financial members.
