DESCRIPTION:Cabrinha National Wave Series \nKWA STATE WAVES Lancelin\nThe event will go ahead on the 4th-5th of December. Stay tuned to the KWA social media channels and the website!\nRegistrations for the 2021/22 Kiteboarding WA State Wave Titles are open. \nREGISTER HERE! \nThis year the KWA State Wave Titles will be run in Lancelin – Back Beach on Saturday the 20th of November and Sunday the 21st of November 2021. As the event is wind-dependent\, we have November 27-28 as backup dates. The competitions will commence mid-morning\, as soon as the winds kicks-in and we can get the heats underway. \nCategories : \n\nAmateur\nJunior (18 & under)\nWomen’s\nOpen\n Masters (35 & over)\nLegends (50 & Over)\n\nIf you are unsure about what division you should choose when entering a wave competition\, watch our information video. \nA presentation will be held on the Sunday evening after the competition.  \nThe entry fee for the event is $25 if you are competing\, free to all who would like to watch. \nState Waves is part of the Cabrinha National Wave Series which includes the State Title and the National Title in Margaret River\, between the 10th and 13th of February 2021.Competition Rules & Guidelines are available for download here. \nWatch useful videos from Waves Head Judge\, Andre on the Waves judging criteria and what strategy to apply as a competitor during heats. \nPlease note\, to enter competition Kiteboarding WA / AUS membership is required. Proudly sponsored by Kite Addiction\, Cabrinha and North Kiteboarding! This year the Cabrinha State Wave Titles will be run at the Northern end of Wedge Island beach on Saturday the 30th of January 2021 with Sunday the 31st as a back-up date. As we are now running the event on one day the competition will kick off as soon as the winds kicks-in and we can get the heats underway. \nDivisions are Amateur\, Junior (18 & under)\, Women’s\, Open\, Masters (35 & over) and Legends (50 & Over). A presentation will be held on the Sunday Evening after the competition. Cost for the Event is $25 if you are competing\, free to all who want to watch! \nThe event is part of the ‘Cabrinha National Wave Series” which includes the State Title and the National Title in Torquay\, Victoria between the 5th and 8th of February 2021 \n* Kiteboarding WA / AUS membership is required. DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again when the WA Kitesurfing community fly the kite for children and young people with cancer in the annual WAKSA Redkite Downwinder! \nRedkite provide essential financial\, educational and emotional support from the devastating point of diagnosis\, through treatment and beyond. WAKSA’s ongoing support of these services is celebrated every year on this great day of kiting. Get on board for your chance to win some great prizes as the highest fundraiser! \nThis year the event will take place on 11 December 2016 and will be followed by the WAKSA Christmas party.
