Kiteboarding WA Appoints New Sport Administrator
Kiteboarding WA is pleased to announce the appointment of Blanka Lesti to the new role of sport administrator.
Blanka has extensive experience in content management and digital marketing having previously worked as the Communications Coordinator at Water Polo WA, as well as the Media Support Officer at Little Athletics WA. Blanka was officially appointed by the Kiteboarding WA Executive Committee following a thorough recruitment process and she will be taking on the first employed role with the organisation.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Hungary and a Master’s in Science of Sport Management from Germany, Ms Lesti is excited to be given this opportunity and welcomes the new challenges offered in this appointed role. “I look forward to working closely with the Kiteboarding WA Committee to build on the fantastic work they have done to date. As a volunteer run association I feel honored to come on board and work closely with the committee members who devote their time and efforts to running the organisation successfully,” Ms Lesti said.
“Perth is a world-class kiteboarding destination and KWA is well positioned to significantly increase its membership within the next few years, especially with kiteboarding’s upcoming Olympic debut in 2024 in Paris.”
Blanka started her new role in June and she is responsible for the daily operation to support the growth and development of Kiteboarding in Western Australia. Blanka will perform administrative tasks, as well as assist in the planning and execution of events and other strategic objectives.
