Kiteboarding WA is seeking three (3) passionate Board Directors to be appointed to the Kiteboarding WA Board for a period of one (1) year with the option to continue. As a Board Director of Kiteboarding WA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of kiteboarding and wing foiling in Western Australia. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine your leadership skills, love for the sport, and commitment to community engagement.
The Board plays an important role in the continued progression, improvement, and growth of the sport in WA and is in search of candidates with skills that align with the strategic direction of the organisation. Board members contribute to the overall governance activities of the Board, including providing input on the matters of corporate strategy, policy formulation and implementation, sport development, as well as oversight of financial performance, risk management and compliance.
KWA is seeking nominations from individuals with a range of qualifications, skills and experience, as outlined in the position descriptions below. It is also desirable for the Board to encompass diversity in aspects such as gender, age, background and perspective. All interested persons are encouraged to apply.
The Kiteboarding Western Australia (KWA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to occur on 18 September 2024 at Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club. Further details as to the exact time and location will be provided to members in the formal notice of meeting.
