The Kiteboarding Western Australia 2023 Special General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at the Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club, 20 Leighton Beach Blvd, North Fremantle commencing at 6:30pm to conduct the business outlined in the Constitution.

KWA considers changes to the Constitution therefore it is required to hold a Special General Meeting for approval. Please find the Explanatory Memorandum on 2023 KWA Constitution changes below. If you wish to have your say in the decisions but can’t make it to the AGM, complete the below Proxy Form, nominate your person of choice to vote for you and email it back to us.

Please find below:

At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:

  • Accept the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
  • Accept the annual report
  • Accept the annual financial statements
  • Elect directors

We encourage all members to come along to the meeting to see not only what goes on behind the scenes at events, but how we advocate and work with local councils to keep beaches open, ensure adequate infrastructure is in place for kiters across the state and ensure we have the best possible outcome for kiteboarders in WA. This is extremely important for the growth and freedom of our sport in WA and if you feel strongly about this or other kiting issues then this is your chance to get involved and make a difference.
