Affiliated schools are the foundation of kiteboarding and wingfoiling in Western Australia. They introduce new participants to our sports, provide structured progression pathways, develop future instructors and connect riders with the wider Kite & Wing WA community.

When selecting a school, we recommend ensuring that:

• Instructors hold recognised qualifications through organisations such as Kiteboarding Australia (KA), British Kitesports (BKSA) or the International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO).
• The school maintains appropriate public liability insurance.
• The school holds the necessary permits and approvals required to conduct lessons at their teaching locations.
