Margaret River Quobba Classic – Cabrinha National Wave Series

February 11, 2022 - February 13, 2022
Registration for this event closes at Thu 10 Feb 2022 21:00.

Kiteboarding Australia in conjunction with Kiteboarding Western Australia is thrilled to announce that in lieu of the Wave Nationals, the Margaret River Quobba Classic as part of the Cabrinha National Wave Series will go ahead between the 11th and 13th of February.

The opportunity to go forth with an event at Main Break, Margaret River was too good to pass up despite the closed border putting a hold on the planned Wave Nationals.

It’s great news for the citizens of Western Australia who can head to Margs this weekend to get the opportunity to kite Main Break all to yourself and take part in a fun wave event!

Forecasts are suggesting great conditions for the event but we will follow with updates and a detailed schedule on Wednesday evening the 9th of February.

For riders that had already registered for the Wave Nationals, your rego will cary into the ‘Classic’. For those who haven’t registered yet, please jump on board and sign up today to assist with the planning of the event.

We thank everyone for their patience whilst we organise the logistics of the changed event plan. Kiteboarding Australia are stoked to see the event going ahead.

Massive thank you to Cabrinha Kiteboarding, Quobba Fins and the Shire of Augusta Margaret River for banding together to ensure this event goes forth!
