Redkite Charity Downwinder *Cancelled due to no wind*

It’s that time of year again when the WA Kitesurfing community fly the kite for children and young people with cancer in the annual WAKSA Redkite Downwinder!

Redkite provide essential financial, educational and emotional support from the devastating point of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. WAKSA’s ongoing support of these services is celebrated every year on this great day of kiting. Get on board for your chance to win some great prizes as the highest fundraiser!

This year the event will take place on 11 December 2016 and will be followed by the WAKSA Christmas party. Meet at Scarborough beach at 12pm for a bus to Leighton, followed by the WAKSA Christmas Party at Floreat Surf Club from 4pm.

For WAKSA Members, go straight to the Everyday Hero Website and set up your Fundraising Profile.

For non WAKSA members, there is a $30 entry fee which you can pay via the Redkite Registration Page. The entry fee will go towards covering the event expenses and insurances. Once you have registered, you can then set up your Fundraising Profile.
